A family business
since 1984.
The Townsend family has been printing and decorating for Tulsa-area teams, schools and businesses since the 1960s. Today we do it from our shop and showroom in Bixby.

Townsend Marketing opened in July 1984 at 52nd & Peoria in Tulsa. In 1991 we moved to a bigger space at 68th & Peoria, our home for the next sixteen years.
In 2007 we moved to Bixby, and we’ve been here ever since. We do our screen printing, embroidery and DTF printing in-house, and you’re welcome to stop by the showroom to see samples.
Over the years we’ve printed for local schools, churches, cities, small businesses, sports teams and families all around the Tulsa area.
THE PEOPLE

We’re a small team. When you call the shop, you’ll get one of us, and Kent, Vicki and Tyler can help with any order.
Kent Townsend
Kent has been in the decorated apparel business since the early ’70s, when he ran his dad John’s shirt shop, Townsend Top Shop, at Tulsa’s Annex Mall. Today he manages the shop, keeps the bills paid and still helps customers with every kind of order. He also never misses a Denver Broncos or OU football game.
Vicki Townsend
Vicki has been with the company for over 35 years and helps customers with everything we make. Her soft spot is promotional products, so if you need a giveaway idea, she’ll have three. You won’t find her here all day, or even every day. She’s usually at her second job (official title: Nana) or working on going pro at pickleball. Email her, though, and she’ll get back to you fast.
Tyler Townsend
Tyler grew up in the business and has worked here for over 12 years. He helps customers with everything we make, knows a little extra about apparel, and runs all things tech, from this website to our online team stores. If Tyler’s not at his desk, he’s probably doing maintenance on a machine or troubleshooting a tech problem.
Jason Lutherbeck
Jason has been our graphic designer for almost 20 years. He turns rough sketches, old logos and “something like this” into print-ready art. If you come in to talk about a design, ask him how much he loves working with AI art. Pull up a chair first. It’s a long answer.
A FEW CHAPTERS ALONG THE WAY
Townsend Graphics
Kent’s dad, John Townsend, opens Townsend Graphics, a Tulsa graphics shop built on design and craft. The family’s story starts here.
Townsend Top Shop
John founds a second business, a shirt shop, and Kent runs it. Townsend Top Shop had two locations, including one at Tulsa’s Annex Mall. Customers picked one of our pre-made designs and we put it on a shirt for them, one at a time. Plenty of big-name bands stopped in for shirts when their tours came through Tulsa, and the shop took on custom projects for local churches, schools and businesses too.
Townsend Marketing
Opens in July, with its first showroom at 52nd & Peoria in Tulsa.
Room to grow
A move to a larger building at 68th & Peoria, home for the next sixteen years.
Home in Bixby
We move into our current shop at 8315 E 111th St S.
Still the best in the business
Over 40 years later, the same family is still printing, stitching and helping customers find exactly what they need, now with a few more machines and a lot more experience.
